The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
